Can I edit SRT without installing software?

Yes. Edit each caption and its start and end times in the browser. Original text remains visible beside your edits. Files can be up to 1 MB and 2,000 captions.

What does the subtitle checker look for?

Empty captions, broken timing, out-of-order captions, invalid separators, overlaps, long lines, more than two lines and high reading speed. Structural errors block export; advisory checks need your judgement.

Does line wrapping shorten captions?

No. Wrapping keeps all text and does not change timing. Captions over two lines or with a high reading speed still need a review.
