How do I convert VTT to SRT?

Use Quick conversion for one or more VTT files, or import a file into the workspace and select Download SRT. The export removes the WEBVTT header, uses commas for milliseconds and numbers captions consecutively.

What VTT features are preserved?

Text and millisecond timestamps are preserved. VTT identifiers and positioning settings do not go into SRT. Comments, STYLE, REGION and header metadata are not retained; import notes explain these limits.

Do I need to upload my video?

No. Only your existing subtitle file is needed. Conversion takes place in your browser. Files can be up to 1 MB and 2,000 captions.
