Translate. Review. Deliver.
Translate course subtitles with a shared glossary. Review each language, keep original timestamps and export an organised SRT/VTT delivery ZIP.
How it works
- Add your existing lesson subtitles and choose target languages.
- Define shared course terms, then translate and review each lesson.
- Download language folders, your glossary and a delivery check report.

Frequently asked questions
Which subtitle tools are free?
Editing, SRT/VTT conversion, timing shifts, line wrapping, quality checks and local video preview are free. No sign-up is needed. Files can contain up to 2,000 captions and be up to 1 MB.
Are my files uploaded?
Local editing and conversion run in your browser. Videos never leave your device. If you choose AI, caption text is sent to DeepSeek; timestamps stay in your browser.
Can I generate subtitles from a video?
srtwise works with existing SRT and VTT files. It does not transcribe audio, burn subtitles into a video or export a video.
What is included in a course delivery?
Completed lesson translations are grouped by language in a ZIP, with your glossary, JSON/CSV checks and a readme. An incomplete delivery requires explicit confirmation and lists every missing pair. AI output still needs human review.
Can I try this without an AI connection?
Yes. Load the two-lesson sample course, generate the fixed Spanish/French examples and download a clearly labelled sample ZIP. You can also import your own lessons and translate them directly.
